Help South Carolina

Quick post just to summarize some ways you can help people all over South Carolina who have lost so much. Especially in my hometown of Columbia, SC. It is beyond devastating, but to see the entire community coming together to help one another is unbelievable. Many of my friends in Sav and Atlanta have asked how they can help. Here's what you can do, even if you aren't a local!

SAVANNAH:

Isle of Hope Baptist Church Friday, 10/9 from 2:00-5:30

I'll be accepting donations at IOHBC in Savannah, GA this Friday. Items needed: socks (all sizes), new underwear (all sizes), toiletries, diapers/wipes, toys, toilet paper, medicine, first aid, gift cards to places like Walmart, Publix, Bed Bath Beyond or all-purpose like VISA, water and snacks.

ATLANTA:

The Atlanta Gamecock Club is taking donations. See info below:

Items can be dropped off on Thursday October 8, 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the parking lot behind OK Café located at 1284 West Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327.
Items that are in need are: Water (bottles or gallons), toiletries (razors, soap, toothbrush, shampoo etc;), non perishable food items, Publix gift cards, towels, blankets, clothes and toys.
If the donation collection time does not work for you please email us at atlgamecockclub@gmail.com and we will arrange a pick up

EVERYONE ELSE:

If you'd like to donate to the South Carolina disaster relief effort, please call the WIS-TV phone bank at (803) 758-1020. The phones will be open until 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday. You can also send a $10 donation to the red cross by texting redcross to 90999.

Please keep SC in your prayers. Thank you!
