But- my parents' living room is underway! I thought I'd share some of the progress so far.
Paint color- Behr Perfect Taupe. The wood trim and doors are going white. We are leaving the fireplace mantle stained as is.
New fabrics- this is Duralee birds of paradise in charcoal.
Plans to recover this large wingback...
In either this slate basket weave ...
Or this taupe velvet...
Or possibly in the same Duralee fabric as the pillows... Tbd.
And probably this rug....
