Amazing Weekend

This weekend we went back to SC for the Go Leo Go run in honor of Leo Bugenske. Leo is one of my best friend's first born. He is an amazing little fighter and has the cutest smile you ever did see. The run was to raise money for spinal muscular atrophy, but it did so much more. It was an awesome sight to see so many people (over 600!) come together in support of this family. I was so blown away. It was great to be a part of this event.

Afterwards, we headed out to Leo's grandparents for lunch, music, and celebrating Leo's birthday! Evans loved playing in the grass and dancing to the music.
After the Leo festivities, we ran out to Mark's grandparents to visit and to pick up his boat. The boat was stored for probably 10 years or more while we lived in Atlanta. He is so excited to have it in Savannah!

On our way back to Isle of Hope, we saw a beautiful sunset. It was the perfect ending to the weekend. A reminder that God is always good and is always present.

If you are interested in raising money for SMA, Leo the Brave books are still available! 312 have sold so far. Wow! The community in Leo's Pride is unbelievable. You can get a copy here: http://blur.by/1u9KvVA

100% of profits are sent to the organization Cure SMA.

I hope everyone's weekend was as exciting as Leo's, but I can't imagine that it was. :)
