Size of baby? Newborn!
How I'm changing? Wow, am I EVER ready to get my body back. Seriously. Moving around is so ridiculous now. I'm just overall very uncomfortable. I have baby parts jabbing me everywhere all the time. There is just NO ROOM, especially when you have the shortest torso on earth. My knees and back are in the most pain I can remember. I won't miss sciatica one bit! Everything looked great at my appointment this week, though, so I'm grateful. Doc and I are just waiting at this point. I have officially gained 40, yes FORTY, pounds this pregnancy. Holy crap. My mom gained 50 something with me and said she lost 25 of it before she even left the hospital... here's hoping I got her genes. All so worth it, but I won't lie: the dog days of pregnancy are rough. Men could never do this.
Contractions? I've had Braxton Hicks for a while now, but lately I've had some painful crampy contractions. They are irregular- about a minute long, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour apart for hours at a time. Doc says it's pre or false labor. Awesome. Painful and unproductive is not what you want to be told. :) Sigh.
Movement? Yes. Whoever said they slow down at the end has not met this baby. Her movements actually hurt me now. I repeat- NO MORE ROOM.
Due Date? My official "due date" is today! Hubs had predicted she would come on Nov. 30. Nope. Family predicted Dec. 3. Nope. I'm still holding strong for Dec. 9. We'll see.... the waiting game will absolutely drive you mad. For the record, I've been walking everyday, climbing stairs, vacuuming, and mopping. I even had spicy Kung Pao twice this week. This girl is going to come when she wants. My doctor has talked induction next Friday if she isn't here yet, which scares the crap out of me. I never wanted to be induced.

Cooking times may vary.... Baby doesn't have a calendar!
Best moment of the week? My fellow attorney friend Andrea wrote E an eviction notice for me. It made my day.

9 months ago I was so excited about three words, "I am pregnant!". Now I long for three different ones, "baby is here!". Even with all the discomfort I'm in, I'm so thankful to be pregnant. I can't wait to meet this little one... I just pray it's sooner than later. Meanwhile, my dogter has no idea what's coming. Blissfully unaware is Blakely the reindeer.
