Ann's Guest Room

My friend Ann and I went to Scott's over the weekend, a trip we wrapped up with an adventure to Steinmart and HomeGoods.  Oops. =)  She found an awesome deal on a comforter set at HomeGoods in a really pretty coral/orange color.  I "made" her get it (wink, wink).  That's what we will tell the husband anyways... ha ha.  Seriously, though, the deal was unbeatable (under $150 for TWO full size bedding sets).  She has a guest room with two full size beds that needs some attention, and away we go....

The bedding sets she picked up are by Style Happy.  Here's a crappy picture that doesn't do it any justice:

She had the vision of doing coral and navy together, being an Auburn Tiger fan and all.  She promises that isn't the reason she wants these colors.. but I know deep down it's her inner War Eagle crying out. I'll let it slide since these colors really do look awesome together.

Here's the plan:  

Two euros and the bed skirt in a navy velvet (and maybe trim skirt with a thick coral ball fringe), Standard Shams and comforter in the Style Happy bedding set, DIY upholstered bench at end of bed and a lumbar pillow in Premier Prints Vertical Stripe Navy & White, and 20x20 toss pillow in Premier Prints Chelsea Coral & White.

She already has really nice white bedroom furniture and the full size beds, and the comforter sets.  That's half the battle, right?  She ordered swatches of the above fabrics.  I can't wait to see it all come together! You won't catch me saying Go Tigers anytime soon, but I do think this room will look darn good.
