ONE- BRRR It's COLD
Okay, yes I'm a baby when it comes to cold weather. I realize that Savannah, GA doesn't get all THAT cold in comparison to the rest of the country, but this past week has been my own little weather nightmare! Highs at 50 is not okay with this girl. But, how beautiful is Wormsloe Plantation even so? Gorgeous even in winter. Man, I love living on Isle of Hope!
TWO- My ALMOST 1 year old?
How did this happen? If I'm being honest though, this has been the longest, but the greatest, year of my life. A lot of my friends feel like the first year flew by, I feel like it's been forever since I had this little girl. And yet at the same time, it is as if I've known her all my life. In any event, she's turning one in three short weeks! We are planning to do a small family gathering (well technically anything involving my huge family can't be small) to celebrate. Love my little Evans.
THREE- PARENTHOOD
Parenthood is probably my favorite show on TV right now, even though it makes me cry every Thursday. I can't believe this is the farewell season! Christina is my favorite character. She's such the MOM's MOM, right? The type of mom we all aspire to be? I will be so sad when the show ends. Four episodes left, are you kidding me?! TEAM JOEL!
FOUR- ART
I've added some new art to my shop, and have been able to finish up several commissions. Thank you all again for letting me share my work. It's an honor as an artist for someone to choose your vision to be a part of their home. XO
FIVE- Turkey Day!
The last two years we've had to miss out on a Savannah Thanksgiving. Last year, I was 39 weeks pregnant and living in Atlanta. The year before that, our dog Blakely girl was having surgery. I'm so excited that we will be in attendance this year, and that the drive is way shorter now that we actually live here!! YEA! I look forward to all the food, and I've also been dying to try one of the cocktails floating around Pinterest. Have y'all tried any?
