Blakers Lately

Our little Blakely pup is not little anymore. And she hasn't been little for a long time to be honest. She's now 15 months old, and still all puppy. Crazy as she ever was, and I love her so much. Whoever said a lab would calm down at one year- HA. I laugh in your face. Really, I do. Though, these pictures are fooling. She looks rather chill doesn't she? Well, you have to be quick to snap this girl's picture. She's forever chasing a squirrel, or barking at a rock, or running around in circles for no good particular reason other than just to do it.

At her last vet checkup a couple months ago, she weighed in at a whopping 103 lbs. That is almost as much as I weigh, so to say my jaw dropped is an understatement. A big, big understatement. Vet said girly needs to lose 10 lbs. I'm not sure from where though, because she's solid muscle in my opinion and gets a ton of exercise.

I promise she doesn't lay around ALL day... :)

She's still a big chewer. Sticks, rocks, siding, houses, shoes, whatever she can get to really, she'll chew it up. I love her anyways. She also loves to be with people 24/7 and meet every dog she can. She's a huge fan of playing, and an even bigger fan of snoring. And boy, can she saw some logs. She's seriously louder than my husband. Seriously.
