7 Months

Mae Caroline is now 7 months old! She weighs 18 pounds 3 ounces, wears size 3 diapers and mostly 12 months and 18 months clothing. She's my squishy one :)

We've been in a good routine on introducing solid foods. Some things she still kind of turns her nose up to (fruit! she's not a big fan). She loves sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans... but I think her favorite is squash.

Evans likes to "help" feed her.

Mae Caroline is really starting to look like her big sister. Deja vu.

Getting a decent picture of them together is impossible. We have professional pictures coming up and I cannot wait.

During mealtime, yummy! She likes to lick her fingers clean. :)

She's been teething up a storm lately and is fussier than usual (usually she's never fussy at all). Her teething tablets work mostly, but she really loves to go outside when her teeth are getting her. Her favorite place is our screened in porch.

Last weekend family came to town! Mark's Uncle Scott, Aunt Susan, and cousin Greg and wife Stephanie were here in Savannah on vacation. The girls really took to Scott! So funny. And yes, pretty sure Evans is picking her nose.

Real life!

We strolled down to the marina, and Evans of course had to have some ice cream.

Still working on crawling, she doesn't quite have the coordination down yet. She's recently started sitting on her own for short spells. She gets very annoyed if she can't get to where she wants to go.

Evans loves to get down on the floor with Mae Caroline, and vice versa. The way MC stares at her big sister is adorable to me. She's in total awe of Evans.

Her schedule is about the same, although she's started taking shorter naps and waking up around 6-6:30 in the morning. I'm hoping this is a phase or a nap transition. She's still taking 3 a day, so maybe she's trying to drop one nap and consolidate? I don't know. But 6 am is kinda early for this mama..... :)

MC just had her first bout of pink eye-wamp wamp. Thank goodness for that magic yellow potion called vigamox. She also has a little runny nose right now. Other than that and the occasional teething pain, she's a happy and content little human.

Happy 7 months, little teether. We love you!
