Nine Weeks

Nine weeks (tomorrow)! This girl is sweet, sweet, sweet.

This week Gigi and Granddaddy came for a visit! So, Hubs and I went on a date night which was SO nice. On the way to dinner we caught the most beautiful rainbow over the marsh on Isle of Hope. Sometimes I pinch myself that we get to live in such a beautiful place. Savannah, we love you!

Speaking of outdoors, the weather has been amazing and the pollen is finally going away. The sand gnats are still out, but they should be gone soon as the weather goes from pleasant to OMGHOT with 100% humidity :) Big Sis has been loving all this outdoor time! MC likes to sit outside in her little bounce chair as Evans digs. And digs. And digs. She's almost found China.

Evans likes to show her babies to "her baby". MC gives the biggest smiles!

Daddy was gone this week for several days, but we survived! Kudos to all single parents. I do not know how you get it all done, much respect. My little alarm clocks woke up earlier and went to bed later while Daddy was away. Of course.

On Tuesday, we went to visit my bestie Ash and her baby Emma Reese. Cuteness overload...They look like they are dancing, ha!

Emma Reese & Mae Caroline are 3 months apart. Destined to be best friends like their mamas!

More dancing...

Oh, the trouble they'll get in one day... :)

This week we also had her two month check up and shots. Shots are the worst, aren't they! So glad they aren't remembered.

Her stats... she's wearing size 3-6 months and 6 months and size 1 diapers.

She was a trooper and handled the shots like a big girl. Of course there were tears, and lots of sleeping afterwards, but she's on the mend. Thankful for my sweet girl.

By bath time she was back to her usual smiling self!

Evans likes to "tickle" Mae Caroline. "ahhhh gooch gooch gooch!" Evans is the only one laughing. Mae Caroline usually looks at me like "really??"

Her schedule is about the same. Eats around 7:30, 10:30, 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30. Sleeps at night from about 7:45pm-7:00 am. Takes 3 good naps during the day, and sometimes will take a cat nap before bath time.

Mae Caroline is definitely my "easy" baby. She's very content doing just about anything. I've never really heard her cry hard (except for during the shots!). She likes to coo and smile and loves new faces.

So thankful for this life. Happy 9 weeks little MC!
