How far along? 37 weeks! Almost there.
Size of baby? Around 6.5-7 lbs, about the size of a watermelon. I'm like Dirty Dancing Baby- I carried a watermelon!
How I'm changing? No differences really. Just bigger. A lot more Braxton Hicks, some are painful. Baby is starting to drop. Cramps. Fun times.
Nesting? The nursery is done! Car seat installed! My bag is packed! Still waiting on Hubs to get on board and pack a few things. Maybe he is in denial that we are within a month!
I also tackled the studio/guest room closet this week. It was a disaster zone. You couldn't hardly close the door for all the junk. I went through and trashed random fabric pieces, decorations, etc. most of it I didn't even know I had- obviously so valuable to me. Ha! However, I still do have quite the collection ( addiction?). Got fabric?
Blakely is ready to be a guard dog. Actually, she mostly snoozes on her bed all day. Maybe she will teach the baby the value of sleeping!
Best moment of the week? My friend Michelle got me a gift card for a prenatal massage, and I'm cashing it Friday! I cannot wait!! I don't know how I waited so long to get one.
Days til due date? 3 weeks!
My doctor tells me the baby can come at any moment now and to be ready. She says you can go from 0 to 60 or walk around dilated for a month. It's funny to me that doctors know so much about babies and delivery, but still don't have a clue what causes labor to occur or when it will happen. And the waiting game commences.... I am tired.
